The efficiency of the existing biogas plant in Gröden, Germany is to be increased with the installation of a biogas processing plant. MT-Biomethan will replace the engine-based cogeneration system used until now with the processing plant and, instead of converting biogas directly into electricity, will upgrade the gas produced to high-quality bio-methane.

The ecological electrical utility company "LichtBlick" is investing in this gas processing technology and will purchase raw biogas. Lichtblick has therefore now also become a gas trader.
